On Wednesday, friends and family will remember a Penfield father of seven found murdered in Yates County.
Craig Rideout went missing in July. His body was later found in Jerusalem in Yates County on July 20. His memorial will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park, located on Marsh Road in Pittsford.
Still, nobody has been charged in his murder. His estranged wife Laura and his sons Alex and Colin have all been charged with tampering with evidence in connection with the death. But at this time, no one has been charged with his murder. Yates County sheriff Ron Spike said Rideout's body was found in a wooded area and his face had been disfigured with acid.
A lot of questions remain in this case. Last Monday, Craig Rideout's sister said he was generous and loving. Investigators are asking anyone with information to reach out to the police.
