Dundee Central School Superintendent Kelly Houck reports the investigation into misappropriation of the 2017 senior class funds continues. Parents and families of the students have been encouraged to share any information surrounding fund-raising or other class activity with Yates County Sheriff’s Office investigators. Meanwhile, she says, the class is very busy with senior activities, including a successful chicken barbecue. A Go Fund Me page has been set up and other donations have been made. A can and bottle drive has also been initiated at Rock Stream Redemption Center, 2745 Chase Road, Rock Stream until further notice. Please label your bags “DCS 2017.” Bags can be dropped off day or night. The class will be credited 5 1/2 cents per can.

“It is in these difficult times that we realize what a great community we reside in and call home,” she says, adding, “The class of 2017 continues to prepare for what will be an excellent senior class trip to Lake George, but also planning for all of the other activities and events associated with senior year, such as applying for college, making career plans, prom, senior attire, and of course, graduation.”
