Dudley N. Fox Jr. passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home.

A private tribute to Dudley will be held at the convenience of the family.

Dudley was born Dec. 28, 1919, the son of Dudley and Gladys Stratton Fox. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII along with three of his brothers, and was a member of the VFW. He also was a volunteer fireman, a school bus driver for many years and superintendent of  buildings and grounds at the Penn Yan School at his retirement. Dudley was also an avid sportsman.

He is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Walter) Wright of Phelps, Donna (Dave) Odell of Bloomfield, and Janet (Lee) Piper of Smyrna, Ga.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Dudley was predeceased by his wife, Almeta, in 2010, four brothers, and five sisters.
