Feb. 19 Woodstown American Legion Ambulance in Woodstown, N.J. suffered a devastating loss of their headquarters and equipment due to a fire. They sustained losses of over $2 million. They have been working hard at rebuilding their facilities and re-establishing the level of care they provided to their patients prior to the disaster.
The Penn Yan Volunteer Ambulance Corps had the opportunity to partner with Woodstown American Legion Ambulance by donating a surplus ambulance April 18 to assist them in rebuilding their agency. The ambulance will be used to provide patient care to the residents of Woodstown, N.J.
“Penn Yan Ambulance is honored for the opportunity to assist our fellow EMS providers and know that the ambulance will be put to good use. We would like to wish them the best as they move forward,” says spokesperson Wesley Youngman of the Penn Yan Corps.
