June 2 at Penn Yan Firemen’s Field

Local, live entertainment company, World X Storm is bringing a little piece of Nashville to the “Heart of the Finger Lakes” Saturday, June 2 at the Firemen’s Field in Penn Yan.

“A Night Out in Nashville” will feature a range of talented artists and other activities in a family-friendly evening for all ages.

Alyssa began her music career at a very young age. Growing up in the small town of East Rochester, she quickly became known for her talent, drive and bubbly personality. Now pursuing her dream in Nashville, she is creating buzz for the same reasons. Alyssa’s music is often described as modern country with an organic sound paired with clever and thoughtful songwriting.” (www.alyssatrahan.com)

The Howlin’ Brothers met in Ithaca and are now a Nashville-based string band. Anchored in a bed of old-time blues and bluegrass, their upbeat shows are heavy with original and traditional music, featuring the sounds of slide banjo, harmonica and old-time fiddle.  Sounding like what would happen if a bunch of Appalachian punk rockers formed a jug-band, The Howlin‚Äô Brothers play with a ferocious energy that drags you in and finds you boogieing along in spite of yourself.” (www.thehowlinbrothers.com)

Finger Lakes native Evan Dillon is a relative newcomer to the acoustic scene. Having spent over 10 years as a vocalist and guitarist in heavy metal bands, Evan has finally decided to return to the styles of music that he grew up with. Now focusing on country, rock, and blues, he has found his place as a singer and more importantly, as a songwriter. (www.evandillonband.com)

The Season is an alternative rock band from Penn Yan who will be performing a special acoustic set for this event.
