“Bernstein at 100 and A Celebration of American Song” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. July 1 at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, 8419 Route 54, Hammondsport. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to tour the historic aviation museum.

Richard Auldon Clark, with members from his Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble (MCCE), and acclaimed Broadway soprano, Erin Stewart, will perform music of Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Foster, and Aaron Copland, along with folk and gospel music.

A highlight will be the world premiere of Clark’s “Three American Songs” for soprano and string quartet, based on the poetry of Robert Frost and 19th century American poets Elizabeth Drew Stoddard and Ella Wheeler Wilcox. It’s a mix of old and new, classical and pop, with surprises to delight and challenge.

Individual tickets are $25. Students are free. Tickets may be purchased on ine by credit card at FingerLakes-Music.org (click Instant Seats) or at the door the night of the concert.
