Roy Litteer, a member of the Dundee Area Historical Society, will present a musical program for the Society at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Dundee Baptist Church, 20 Seneca St. in Dundee.

Litteer, who has lived in the Dundee area his whole life, is a well-known fiddler, who has been performing regionally since the 1960s.

He and his friends share not only their music, but entertaining stories when they gather for Blue Grass performances and jam sessions.

He recently joined his protégé, Bobby Fitzgerald, on stage when Fitzgerald and his Austin, Texas trash grass group, Whiskey Shivers, played in Penn Yan.

The musicians who will join Litteer Sept. 25 might be from a different generation than Whiskey Shivers, but the music they will play will just as entertaining.

The Society will provide desserts and beverages beginning at 6 p.m., and the program will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for members of the Historical Society, and $7 for non-members. Please call the Dundee Area Historical Society to make reservation by Friday, Sept. 21.
