Woodstock 50 promoter Michael Lang was in Watkins Glen March 7 to meet in a closed-door session with Schuyler County officials and representatives from New York State Police to discuss safety preparations for the festival planned for Aug. 16, 17, and 18 at Watkins Glen International.

According to a report posted on Odessafile.com, Lang will return to Watkins Glen March 27 for a public meeting at 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center in the old Middle School on Decatur Street.

Lang reportedly said he will be announcing the 80 acts for the festival in two weeks.
