This photo, taken in April 1944, is of four young area men who had just been inducted into the Army in Penn Yan. Jean Dyke Kinney, who provided the photo, says her father, Harry W. Dyke, on the right, was killed in Germany in 1945. His was the first unit to cross the Rhine via the Ludendorff bridge into Germany. This photo has been in her family since 1944, but she has never known who the other men in the photo are.
