Keuka Comfort Care Home is planning the  annual Big Barn Bonanza garage sale for Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 at the Yates County Fairgrounds.

Are you cleaning out a room or updating this spring and decided certain items must go? Consider saving those items and donating them to the Big Barn Bonanza. Keuka Comfort Care Home volunteers will start accepting items between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 and between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 28. Call KCCH 315-536-1690 if you need to have larger items picked up.

The Big Barn Bonanza sale is looking for like-new household items such as glassware, kitchenware, china, linens and blankets, baby things, paintings, pictures, home décor, furniture, and jewelry to name a few. Estate items are especially wanted.

As in the past, again this year, clothing and shoes will not be accepted. Also, electronics, including TVs, computers, and printers, any exercise equipment, skis, or Christmas trees will not be accepted because they just don’t sell.

Call Keuka Comfort Care Home at 315-536-1690 if you have a question about a donation. Ask for Donna or Rose. KCCH takes pride in holding a good, clean, successful garage sale with fair prices.

The funds from this event help with on-going daily expenses of running Keuka Comfort Care Home, a two-bedroom palliative care home overlooking Keuka Lake. KCCH accepts those who need end of life care at no expense to them, their families or their insurance companies.

Keuka Comfort Care Home sincerely thanks this community and beyond for the generosity you have shown. Keuka Comfort Care Home has served over 240 residents and their families since they opened. It couldn’t be done without you!
