Michael C. Williams, 45, of Upper Hill Road, Middlesex, was arrested Oct. 30 by Yates County Sheriff’s Office Deputies (YCSO) on a warrant out of Middlesex Town Court stemming from an incident Oct. 18. Williams charged with petit larceny and 4th-degree criminal mischief and was held at the Yates County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Court.
Joshua Clark, 45, of South Vine Valley Road, Middlesex, was arrested Oct. 30 by YCSO for violation of probation warrant. Clark was on probation following an arrest in November 2018 as the result of a domestic incident in Middlesex. Clark was taken to the county jail to await Arraignment Court.
Paige Willoughby, 28, of Keuka St., Penn Yan, was charged Oct. 30 by Penn Yan Police Dept. Officers (PYPD) for driving with a suspended registration. She was released with an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
Benjamin E. Carmel, 31, of East Elm St., Penn Yan, was arrested Oct. 31 by PYPD following a physical incident with another male in the parking lot of a local business. He was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana and was released with appearance tickets for village court.
Jacob W. Pennington, 31, of Wagener St., Penn Yan was charged Nov. 1 by PYPD after being stopped for an infraction. A license check showed his to be suspended for having no insurance in effect Oct. 15. He was issued appearance tickets for 3rd degree AUO and failure to signal a turn.
Tajha E. Northrup, 22, of Penn Yan, was arrested Nov. 1 by State Troopers for drunk driving after she was stopped on Routes 5 & 20 in Waterloo. Failing field sobriety tests, she was taken to the barracks in Waterloo where a breath test showed .14% BAC. Northrup was charged with common law DWI, DWI with a BAC greater than .08%, and other traffic violations. She was later released with appearance tickets for Waterloo Town Court.
Randy D. Davis Jr., 42, of South Main Street, Rushville, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Nov. 2 by YCSO dispatched to a report of a sick or intoxicated driver traveling south through Rushville. Deputies located Davis and detected the odor of an alcohol. They placed him through field sobriety tests and he was taken to the county jail for chemical tests. He was charged with common law DWI and aggravated DWI with a .18% BAC or greater, and was held for Arraignment Court.
Tiffanie L. Simonsen, 25, of East Swamp Road, Penn Yan, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Nov. 2 by YCSO responding to a report of a vehicle in the middle of Voak Road with an unconscious driver slumped over the steering wheel. Upon deputies' arrival, Simonson had regained consciousness. Showing signs of intoxication, she failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DWAI by drugs and parking on a roadway. She was released with appearance tickets for Potter Town Court. Gorham Ambulance also responded.
Aaron W. Devivi, 27, of East Lake Road, Penn Yan, was charged Nov. 3 by PYPD with 3rd degree AUO, and was released with an appearance ticket.
Paul L. Burrell, 71, of Franklinville was charged by PYPD with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property Nov. 2 after he was observed pulling donations out of the Penn Yan Music Boosters can and bottle bin on Liberty Street. Officers found the bin empty and his truck bed full of bagged recyclables. He was processed at the police department and taken to the Yates County Jail for arraignment court.
Nicholas J. Houghtaling, 18, of Penn Yan was ticketed for remaining in parks after hours by PYPD Nov. 3 after he was found in a car at 10:50 p.m. at the boat launch sports complex. He told officers he intended to spend the night there. He will appear in Penn Yan Village Court.
