Domestic incident leads to charges of menacing, assault, and child endangerment

Ivy Rose L. Gottshall, 21, of East Elm St., Penn Yan, was arrested Nov. 29 by Penn Yan Police responding to a physical domestic incident. Gottshall allegedly made physical contact with two residents, struck one of those two over the head with a metal rack numerous times causing injuries, brandished a shotgun and threatened to use it — all in the presence of a 1-year-old child.

Gottshall was charged with 2nd degree menacing, 3rd-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and an aggravated family offense. She was held at the Yates County Jail to await the Centralized Arraignment Court.
