Alex Ziriada, 25, of Keuka St., Penn Yan, was arrested Nov. 23 by Penn Yan Police Dept. Officers (PYPD) following investigation of a stolen bicycle. He allegedly took the bike from a local business, and later discarded it behind a filling station. He was charged with 5th degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, and was held at the Yates County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Court.
Asley B. Jones, 30, of Hamline Ave., Silver Lake, was charged with 2nd degree aggravated unlicensed operation (AUO) Dec. 11 by PYPD. She was released with an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
George Flynn Jr., 45, of Lakeshore Dr., Canandaigua, was arrested Dec. 11 by PYPD at the Ontario County Jail on two warrants from Penn Yan Village Court for failure to appear and 3rd degree bail jumping. He was taken to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment court.
Dennis L. Smigiel, 36, of Pine St., Bath, was arrested Dec. 11 by Yates County Sheriff’s Office Deputies (YCSO) upon his release from the Steuben County Jail. He was wanted on a bench warrant from Potter Town Court for failure to pay fines, and was held at the Yates County Jail to await arraignment court.
Joshua J. Hunt, 37, of Manor Village, Bath, was arrested Dec. 12 by PYPD on a bench warrant from village court for failure to appear on charges of 3rd degree AUO and driving an uninspected vehicle. He was held at the county jail for arraignment.
Shantell McMaster, 30, of Seneca St., Penn Yan, was charged with 3rd degree AUO Dec. 12 by PYPD. She was released with an appearance ticket.
Alana M. Snyder, 23, of Canandaigua, was charged with 3rd degree AUO and obstructed driver’s view Dec. 12 by PYPD after a traffic stop. A license check showed hers to be suspended for failure to pay a fine in Honeoye Falls Village Court. She was released to appear later.
Todd Parody, 21, of Charles St., Dresden, was charged with 3rd degree AUO Dec. 13 by PYPD after a license check showed his to be suspended for failure to pay a fine in Penn Yan Village Court. He was released to reappear.
Jamie L. Lovejoy, 43, of Grove St., Elmira, was arrested for drunk driving at 2:09 a.m. Dec. 14 by YCSO responding to a suspicious vehicle call in Dresden. Deputies found him in his vehicle at the end of Seneca Street smelling of alcohol and with an open container. Failing field sobriety test and chemical testing, and with a revoked license, he was charged with common law DWI, DWI with a .08% BAC or greater, felony 1st degree AUO, and open container. He was held at the county jail for arraignment court.
Anita M. Clinton, 54, of County House Road, Penn Yan, was arrested Dec. 15 by PYPD after being stopped for an infraction. A license check showed hers to be expired and also suspended for failure to pay a fine in Seneca Town Court Nov. 28. She was charged with 3rd degree AUO, unlicensed operation, and disobeying a traffic control device. She was released to appear later.
