Lillian Hopkins Crevelling, 95, of Penn Yan, went home to the Lord on December 21, 2016, at The Homestead in Penn Yan.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice or Habitat for Humanity of Yates County.
Lillian was born Feb. 17, 1921 in Pulteney, the eldest child of John and Mildred (Dinehart) Hopkins. A 1939 graduate of Union Springs Academy, she married Charles (Walter) Crevelling in 1942. They were lifelong residents of Yates County and lived quiet lives devoted to family and friends. Lillian was known for her baking, cooking, and skill at handcrafts.
Lillian is survived by her sisters, Beth and Onalee, and her brother, Frederick (Loretta); two sons, John (Dianne) and James (Cindy); four grandchildren, Christopher, Kimber, Jason (Veronica), and Sarah; one great-granddaughter, Colette, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
