Dawn Marie Pollack, 61, of Dundee, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital with family and friends at bedside.

A celebration of life and love for Dawn (a.k.a. Be Nice to Dawn Day) will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Seneca Lake Duck Hunters Club in Dresden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Fire and Ambulance Corps, Union Street, Dundee, N.Y. 14837.

Dawn was born Nov. 11, 1957 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Russell and Mary Fuller. She was a graduate of Dundee Central School in Dundee. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keuka College in Keuka Park.. She was a past member of the Dundee Fire Department and the Dundee Ambulance Corp.

Dawn was an energetic and loving person. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need — always there to guide and assist her family and friends. If something needed to be done, Dawn was the go-to. She enjoyed square dancing. She had a passion for primitive camping, reflected by her membership in the Keuka Lake Renegades, and was appreciated for her singing, dancing and fun-loving ways. She loved her farm, her cows, and her camp, but most of all she loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving spouse of 27 years, Mark (son of Michael and the late Shirley Pollack), her four children; Brady (Ada’lexia) Snell of West Palm Beach, Fla., Amanda (Kyle) Hausman of Phelps, Justin Brown of Rochester, Jarod Brown (Brittney Austin, fiancé) of Dundee; three beloved grandchildren; Robert Snell (22) of Penn Yan, Bradon Snell (15) of Russellville, Ala., and Clayton Snell (8) of Phelps; three brothers, William P. (Jackie) Fuller of Horseheads, Russell E. (Bonnie) Fuller Jr. of Titusville, Fla., John P. (Joy) Fuller of Dundee; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other family members, dear friend and sidekick, John C. Close of Penn Yan, and all the people who loved her in life. She will be missed by all.
