Eileen “Patsy” Randall, 93, of Wake Forest, N.C., formerly of Corning and Penn Yan, and Marco Island, Fla. passed away Jan. 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

At her request no service will be held.

Patsy was born on April 23, 1925 in Detroit, Mich. to the late Henri and Eugenie Pruneau. She grew up in the town of Belleville with her siblings Norma and Bobby. She graduated from Albion College in 1947 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. It was while at Albion College that Patsy met, and then married, her beloved husband John. They spent 63 happy years together.

Patsy and John settled in Corning, where John worked in Industrial Relations for Corning Inc., while Patsy was a homemaker who raised four children. Through the years she also volunteered at various organizations including the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Planned Parenthood, and the Marco Island Burrowing Owl Watch Project.

Patsy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing cards with John, fishing, kayaking, reading, and teaching aqua exercise.

She is survived by her children and their partners: Lynn Harris (Paul Bean), Jeff Randall (Dora), Jeanne Randall (Jim Reardon), and David Randall (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Travis, Ryan, Nathan, Cameron, Wesley, Alyssa, and Lindsey; and five great-grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her siblings, Norma and Bobby.
