Friends are invited to call at the house, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 2:00 – 4:00, and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery

Ada is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mahlon Z. Horning; her 8 children, Lawrence (Kathryn) Horning of Penn Yan, Edna Jane Horning at home, Glen (Lisa) Horning of Penn Yan, Lucy (Lawrence) Shirk of Middlesex, Nelson (Ruth) Horning of Penn Yan, Marie (Merle) Martin of Penn Yan, Henry (Eileen) Horning of Little Falls, NY and Susan Horning at home; 30 grandchildren; her brothers, Aaron Brubaker of Mt. Hermon, KY, Daniel (Bertha) Brubaker of Elkton, KY, Martin (Martha) Brubaker of Elkton, KY, David (Mary) Brubaker of Denver, PA and Samuel (Frances) Brubaker of Denver, PA; her sisters, Lucy Brubaker of Denver, PA, Mabel (Charles) Burkholder of Penn Yan and Edna (Leon) Martin of Ephrata, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Edna Brubaker and sisters-in-law, Mary Brubaker and Lucy Brubaker.

Arrangements were by the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home, Gorham, NY.
