Ella Marie Geraci

Penn Yan - Ella Marie Geraci passed on February 6th, 2022. She was 84 years old. Born in Sayre, PA on 6/30/1937, she grew up in Rochester, NY, and moved to Penn Yan, NY in 1961, as she and her husband sought a small town environment to raise their growing family. They spent the next 51 years enjoying their beloved adopted hometown. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, and her brothers, Joseph and Thomas Condon. Brothers Arnold and Jerry Condon survive her, as do her five children and their spouses: Barbara (Glenn) Harvey, John (Susan) Geraci, William (Linda) Geraci, Michael (Lori) Geraci and Anthony (Susan) Geraci, Jr. She is immensely proud of her grandchildren: Elisabeth and Carolyn Geraci, Michael Geraci Jr., Meaghan Vescio, Emily Geraci, Stephen and Matthew Geraci, and Caitlin and Melissa Harvey. Mom/Grandma had a big heart, so large that each of her children, their spouses, and individual grandchildren rightly believed they were Grandma's favorite. Truth is, we all were. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Webster Comfort Care Home, the URMC home hospice nurses, and Leigh Lafferty, NP, and Robert Smith, MD of URMC/Thompson Health for their superior care of Ella. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12th, at 10:30 AM at Saint Michael's Church, 312 Liberty St., Penn Yan. Donations in her memory are encouraged in support of the Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd, Webster, NY 14580. Memories of Ella may be shared with family and friends at townsendwoodzinger.com
