The Keuka College Women’s Lacrosse team lost on Saturday in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Semi-Finals to Medaille College by the score of 15-7 at Morrisville State College.
Keuka College finishes the 2018 season with a 13-2 record. Both of the losses for Keuka came to Medaille. Kendall Neuberger (Penn Yan) scored three goals in the game for Keuka College. Brenna Voigt (Penn Yan) added a pair of goals and an assist in the loss.
Medaille College 15 vs. Keuka College 7 – NEAC Semi-Finals
The Wolves got on the board first on Saturday as Vanessa Tsarevich (Rochester) scored her 50th goal of the season. Brenna Voigt backed that up with a goal two minutes later as Keuka College held the 2-0 advantage. The Mavericks would answer back, tying the game at 2-2. The Wolves would take the lead back on Voigt’s second goal of the game, but Medaille College scored the final three goals of the half to lead 5-3 at the break.
The Mavericks opened the second half strong, scoring the first five goals of the half to build a seven-goal lead at 10-3. Kendall Neuberger snapped the run, scoring a free-position goal, to make it 10-4 with 15 minutes left to play. The Mavericks quickly answered with a goal as they remained in control of the game. Keuka College lost to Medaille College 15-7 on Saturday.

• It was the first time since the 2013 NEAC Championship that the Wolves faced the Mavericks in the postseason
• Kendall Neuberger finished the season with 59 goals for the Wolves, the fourth most in a season at Keuka College
• Brenna Voigt and Vanessa Tsarevich also finished the season in the top ten in school history for goals with 52 and 50, respectively
