The Dundee boys track team grabbed a victory last week to win the Finger Lakes West Division III title in a meet held at South Seneca.
Matt Wood won the 3200 with a time of 10:36.72. Dundee’s 4x400 meter relay team of Austin Brace, Brady Richardson, Preston Cratsley, and Nic Laursen also took first place with a time of 46.29.
Preston Cratsley also earned a second place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.40 and a third place in the 400 meter dash with a mark of 23.60. Wood came in second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:05.36 and placed second in the 1800 meter run with a mark of 4:44.24. Josh Cramer finished second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.16.
Gabe Kirkendall finished third in the high jump, clearing 5-06.00. Preston Cole finished second in shot put with a mark of 43-02.00 and in the discus throw with a mark of 121-09. Leif Hoyt and Tate Hoyt finished behind Cole in the discus at 119-09 and 109-06 respectively.
The team competes in the Varsity League Championship at Waterloo Friday.
