Penn Yan (#3) will now face #2 seed North Rose-Wolcott at East Rochester at 5 p.m. Nov. 6. in the semi-final round. The winner will face either #1 Attica or #4 Mynderse in the Championship game Friday in Avon.

The Penn Yan volleyball team captured the win over Waterloo last week in Class C quarterfinal play, defeating the Indians in five sets.

The Mustangs took the first two sets 25-21 and 27-25 before Waterloo won the next two 25-20 and 25-13.

Penn Yan won the final set 25-14. Caitlin Wunder had 34 kills, one ace, and 12 digs. Serina Sheradin had 40 assists, seven aces, three kills, and 13 digs. Jammie Decker added eight kills, five aces, one block, and seven digs while Aysa Crocker had 18 digs and two aces.
