Dundee defeated Geneva at Brock’s Bowl with a pin count of 1,997 to 1,788. Cassie Morrissette of Dundee had the match’s high series of 438 (120, 179, 139). Also for Dundee, Claudya Lyons bowled a 382 series (132, 151, 99) and Sam Hunt bowled a 293 series, including the match’s high game of 195.

Marcus Whitman 4 Waterloo 1


The Wildcats beat out Waterloo Tuesday. The final pin count was 2,508 for Whitman versus 2,366 for Waterloo. Kennedy Smith bowled a 513 series, including a 180 game and Zoelle Payne bowled a high game of 215.


Dundee 5 Honeoye 0


The girls of Dundee varsity bowling swept their match against Honeoye at Brock’s Bowl. Cassie Morrissette bowled the night’s high series of 438 (153, 167, 118). Jaedyn Brewer rolled a 337 series (109, 112, 116) and Sam Hunt had a 333 series (107, 119, 107). For Dundee Cassie Morrissette and Amber Gerringer both bowled a 153 game, tying for the night’s highest.

The Lady Mustangs took a loss to Newark at Brock’s Bowl Wednesday. The final pin count was Newark 2,865 to Penn Yan’s 2,539. For Penn Yan, Brandee Ellis bowled a 595 series and tied with Newark’s Natalie Kent for the night’s highest game of 235. Also for the Mustangs, Andy Kniffin bowled a 566 series (159, 186, 221) and Anella Tillman bowled a 535 series (166, 173, 196).

Marcus Whitman’s girls bowling team defeated Honeoye in a sweeping victory with the final pin fall of 2, 304 to Honeoye’s 1,463. For Whitman, Kennedy Smith bowled a 205 game in her 558 series, both scores being her new personal best. Also for Whitman, Kendall Davis bowled a 444 series, including a 169 game.

The Lady Mustangs defeated Honeoye Thursday night, joining the boys in sweeping the Bulldogs in their respective matches. Anella Tillman had the match’s high series of 597 and the match’s highest game of 221. Andy Kniffin bowled a 552 series (181, 191, 180) and Brandee Ellis bowled a 491 series (170, 170, 151).

Marcus Whitman swept Romulus at Roseland Bowl Thursday. The final pin count was 2,250 to Romulus’ 1,872. Whitman’s high game of 212 came from Zoelle Payne. Leah Aaron had Whitman’s high series of 452 with a high game of 186.

Stephen Smith bowled an impressive series of 597 with games of 202, 182 and the match’s highest game of 213. Aaron Bruzda rolled a 360 series (106, 129, 125), while Justin Keech bowled a 349 series (134, 113, 102). Geneva’s Derek Leshure rolled a 418 series.

Whitman boys defeated Waterloo at Roseland Bowl with a final pin count of 2,813 to 2,404. Tim Phillips bowled a 258 game within his 654 series, while Dom Mangiarelli rolled a 226 game in his 640 series.

Dundee defeated Honeoye at Brock’s Bowl with a pin fall count of 2,012 to 1,859. Dundee’s Steven Smith had the match’s high series of 666 with games of 232, 179 and the night’s high game of 255. Justin Keech and Aaron Bruzda each bowled a 347 series and Aaron Ayers had a 332 series.
