Waterloo 5 Dundee 0


Waterloo swept Dundee when they faced off at Roseland last week with a pin fall count of 2,246 to 1,815. Waterloo’s Hanna Tuuri had the night’s high series of 498, while the night’s high game went to Emma Smithers, also from Waterloo. For Dundee, Cassie Morrissette had the team’s high series of 480, which included the teams’ high game of 172. Jaedyn Brewer bowled a 365 series (133, 124, 108) and Kayla Andrews bowled a series of 355 (138, 114, 103).

Penn Yan 5 Romulus 0


The Lady Mustangs beat Romulus last Tuesday, sweeping in points and with a final pin fall of 2,271 to Romulus’ 1,816. Penn Yan’s Andy Kniffin got the match’s high series of 591, which included a 202 game and the night’s highest game of 233. Also for Penn Yan, Anella Tillman bowled a 522 series (213, 114, 195) and Brandee Ellis bowled a 429 series (139, 125, 165).

Marcus Whitman and Dundee squared of last Tuesday, with the Wildcats coming out on top with a pin count of 2,239 to 2,074. Marcus Whitman’s Zoelle Payne took the match’s high series of 488 and also the night’s high game of 198. Also for Whitman, Kennedy Smith bowled a 475 series (155, 147, 173), Kendall Davis bowled a 435 series (147, 148, 140) and Leah Aaron bowled a 155 game. For Dundee, Cassie Morrissette bowled a 465 series (170, 148, 147), Jaedyn Brewer bowled a 396 series (110, 130, 156) and Claudia Lyons bowled a 345 series (101, 126, 118).

Penn Yan 5 Waterloo 0


Penn Yan girls beat Waterloo in a sweeping victory Thursday night with the final pin fall at 2,554 for Penn Yan versus Waterloo’s 2,368. For the second game in a row, Penn Yan’s Andy Kniffin got the match’s high series of 600 with games of 194, 195 and the night’s highest game of 211. Penn Yan’s other high rollers included Anella Tillman with a 595 series (202, 204, 190), Brandee Ellis with a 487 series (135, 148, 204) and McKelvie Jensen with a 462 series (163, 160, 139). Penn Yan’s next match will be at Brock’s Bowl against Wayne Feb. 4


Dundee 5 HAC 0


Dundee swept Harley-Allendale-Columbia at Roseland Bowl with a final pin count of 1,981 to 1,539. Dundee’s Kayla Andrews had the night’s highest series of 411 and highest game of 156. Also for Dundee, Jaedyn Brewer bowled a 405 series (134, 125, 146), Cassie Morrissette bowled a 401 series (128, 139, 134) and Sam Hunt bowled a 376 series with a high game of 145. Dundee’s next match is on 1/30 at Romulus.


M. Whitman 5 Geneva 0


The Lady Wildcats won against Geneva at Roseland Bowl on Thursday with a final pin fall of 2,355 to 1,949. For Whitman, Kennedy Smith bowled a 181 game in her high series of 520. Also for M.W., Jane Snaith bowled a 206 game. Whitman’s next match is against HAC on 1/29.

Waterloo’s boys varsity bowling team defeated Dundee in a sweeping victory last Thursday with a final pin count of 2,595 to 1,818. Chance Rivera of Waterloo bowled the match’s high series of 639, but Dundee’s Stephen Smith got the night’s high game of 255 in his 576 series. Also for Dundee, Aaron Bruzda bowled a high game of 135 in his 357 series and Skye Strickland bowled a high game of 116 in his 300 series.

The Penn Yan boys swept Romulus when they met at Sunset Bowl with a final pin count of 2,818 to 2,145. Penn Yan’s Cameron Bassage had the night’s high series of 611, including two 218 games. The match’s highest game was achieved by Penn Yan’s Zach Gurba with a 242 in his 430 series. Also for Penn Yan, Connor Harmon rolled a 598 series (173, 201, 224) and Connor Anderson added a game of 216.

In a mirror of the girls’ match, Marcus Whitman swept Dundee at their meet-up Tuesday night with a final pin count of 2,902 to 2,087. Whitman’s Dom Mangiarelli took both the night’s highest series of 669 and the highest game of 255. Also for the Wildcats, Tim Phillips bowled a 622 series (236, 245, 141), Austin King bowled a 570 series (177, 182, 211) and Nick Lloyd bowled a 553 series (209, 162, 182). Dundee’s high scorers included Stephen Smith with a 576 series (236, 163, 177), Austin States bowled a 419 series (133, 153, 133) and Aaron Ayers bowled a 400 series (119, 135, 146).

The Mustangs bowling team swept Waterloo at their match at Sunset Bowl with a total pin count of 2,960 to 2,655. Penn Yan’s Cam Bassage had the night’s high series of 645 (225, 205, 215), while Connor Harmon bowled the match’s high game of 268 in his 614 series. Other high scorers for Penn Yan were Ben Broome with a 601 series (215, 181, 205) and Jon Mashewske with a 549 series (193, 186, 170). Penn Yan’s next match will be at Brock’s Bowl against Wayne Feb. 4.


HAC 4 Dundee 1


The Dundee boys varsity bowling team lost out to HAC at Roseland bowl Thursday with a final pin count of 2,108 to Dundee’s 2,069. HAC’s Jonathan Gambill took the night’s high series with a 553 (199, 173, 181), though Dundee’s Austin States had the night’s high game of 212 in his 480 series. Also for the Scots, Stephen Smith bowled a 516 series (182, 163, 171) and Skye Strickland bowled a 372 series with a high game of 146. Dundee’s next match will be Jan. 30 at Romulus.

The Whitman boys found victory against Geneva at Roseland Bowl. The final pin count was Whitman’s 2,784 to Geneva’s 1,801. Whitman’s Dom Mangiarelli bowled a 652 series, including a high game of 265. Also for Whitman, Nick Lloyd bowled a 224 game and Tim Phillips had a 211 game. Whitman’s next match is against HAC Jan. 29.
