The future home of ReMax Diversified Realty

Bucky Lane’s Remax Diversified Realty has been cleared by the Yates County Planning Board to completely renovate the long disused building at the corner of Liberty and Keuka Streets as their new location.

Plans have been completed and approved, and a new tenant is waiting to move in to the current Remax location on Lake Street.

Formerly known as Roger’s Market and even before as Owen’s, the white house with the low hip roof has been empty for as long as many can remember.

With the addition of a peaked roof, enclosure of the porch and old storefront entrance, and the restoration of the house’s original entrance, the planning board expressed enthusiasm for Lane’s plan.

This project for Remax’s new home, the renovation of the Garrett Winery building across the street, and the new bridge planned for the fall will give the south end of Liberty Street a facelift.

An elevation of the planned renvations for the new home of Re/Max Diversified Realty.
