Manhattan Chamber musicians

The magnificent music of some of the world’s greatest composers is not often associated with a barn just up from Seneca Lake. But Sunday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m., the Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival will bring a Manhattan Chamber Orchestra string trio and flutist to the barn at Ravines Wine Cellars (400 Barracks Road off Pre-Emption Road, Geneva). Featured are these great works: Quantz’s “Quartet No 3 in G;” Luigi Boccherini’s “Quartet in D;” JC Bach’s “Quartet in C;” Mozart’s, “Divertimento K. 563.” and R. A. Clark’s “Bookends.” Tickets are $25 each. Students are free.

Tickets for the July 23 concert, as well as for the final concert in the Festival to be held at Hunt Country Vineyards July 29, may be purchased at the door or online at FingerLakes-Music.org. A check also may be sent to FLCMF, P.O. Box 605, Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527. A package special of six tickets is available for the price of five. These may be used at any concert and in any combination.
