Rochester Rattlers raise $1,300 for Arc of Yates

The Rochester Rattlers Major League Lacrosse team raised $1,300 to benefit the Arc of Yates disaster relief efforts following devastating flooding in May.
Top defenseman for the Rattlers and Penn Yan native Mike Manley introduced the fundraising idea which netted $1,300.
Brad Ford, Chief Operating Officer for the Rattlers, expressed his appreciation for the team’s loyal fan base and the outpouring of support for Mike’s home town. The entire donations will benefit rebuilding the Agency’s facility that sustained over one million dollars in damages.
Mike played lacrosse as a standout All-American defenseman at Penn Yan Academy, and continued his dominance at Duke University.
From ACC Rookie of the Year to All-American, Manley remained as one of the top defenders in the country and was drafted as the third pick in the 2012 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by Rochester.
The Arc of Yates is the premier provider of services for individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages.
