Emily Lilyea and Joel Zaleski exchange vows in Phelps
Emily Lilyea, daughter of Gary and Mary Lilyea of Penn Yan and Joel Zaleski, son of Paul and Linda Zaleski of Rochester were married Nov. 10, 2007 at St. Francis Church in Phelps in a ceremony officiated by Fr. Curtiss.
Emily is a 1999 Penn Yan Academy and 2003 St. Bonaventure University graduate who is employed by Sutherland Global Services as an accountant.
Joel is a 1978 graduate of Bishop Kearney and a 2002 graduate of Niagara University who is employed by Pricewaterhouse Coopers as an auditer.
Laura Sumner of Horseheads was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Lilyea of Penn Yan, Katie Murphy of Syracuse, Heather Enos of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Amanda Zaleski of Rochester. Ava Russell of Phelps and Caleigh Haverling of Woodbridge, Va. were flower girls.
Tony Colon of Rochester was the best man. Groomsmen were Mike Nevins of Rochester, Mike Lilyea of Penn Yan, Sean Nicholas of Rochester and Bob Marwaha of New Jersey.
A reception was held at Ventosa Vineyards on the east side of Seneca Lake.
Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple lives in Rochester.
