Verdi, Dobreski exchange vows
Heather Marie Verdi and Michael John Dobreski were married on Sept. 4, 2010 in a ceremony officiated by Father Thomas Mull at St. Mary’s Church in Canandaigua. The couple met while attending college together at SUNY Brockport.
Heather is the daughter of Walter and Madeline Verdi of Dundee. She is a 2001 graduate of Dundee Central School and 2005 graduate of SUNY Brockport. She is employed at Koch Container in Victor as a sales/customer service representative.
Michael is the son of John Dobreski Sr. of Camillus and Mary Fishlock of Auburn. He is a 1998 graduate of Auburn Central School and 2002 graduate of SUNY Brockport. He is the manager of Lumber Liquidators in Rochester.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero strapless A-line organza gown with sweetheart neckline and corset closure. Swarovski crystals and embellished lace motifs decorated the bodice, skirt and train. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses, pink Gerber daisies and white stephanotis. She was escorted by her father.
The matron of honor was Kristen Mastellar, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Susan Connolly and Amanda DeLiberto, both cousins of the bride, and Laura Nemchick, friend of the bride.
The best man was Brian Dobreski, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were John Dobreski Jr., brother of the groom, Matthew Field, cousin of the groom, and Matthew Bloss, friend of the groom.
The flower girl was Madison Cosentino, daughter of the groom’s cousin.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Country Club of Mendon. Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia the couple is living in Fairport.
