Women to hold Summer Solstice Celebration at Keuka Lake State Park

Join Women 4 Women and Girls (W4WAG) as they kick off their June event, Summer Solstice Celebrationat the Keuka Lake State Park Pavilion Wednesday, June 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  The festivity is to celebrate the changing of the seasons as well as the women and girls of Yates County.  Free and open to all women and girls, come enjoy summer solstice activities, good campfire food (including s'mores) and the company of others along with fun giveaways.  Even help plan our herb garden! 

There is no cost for the event Childcare (up to age 10) will be provided.  In an effort to be green, we will be providing a bus shuttle to and from the park.  Please ask for details when RSVPing, requested by June 20 (315.719.1858 or w4wag@yahoo.com).

W4WAG is a group of passionate women who love to help out and build community connections.  The group's mission is to create opportunities that will inspire all females of Yates County.  By building a strong sense of sisterhood, our goal is to empower women and girls to create visions for their futures. 

The dream is that W4WAG will motivate, assist and inspire each participant to achieve whatever goals they can imagine and be contributing members of their community. The ultimate aim is to transform our county by collaborating with agencies, schools, churches and community leaders.
