Youth Theater group will present Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr.

The cast of Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Dozens of youngsters involved in the Pennyslvania Yankee Theatre Company’s Youth Theater Experience will present Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 5, and 6 in the Penn Yan Academy auditorium.

The musical, based on the 1951 Disney film “Alice in Wonderland” and the novels “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll, is directed by Grace Knapton with musical direction by Carole Cummings.

The cast of characters includes Riley Dallos as Alice, Rachael Garvey as Little Alice, Bailey Findley as Big Alice, Ashley Owens as Mathilda, Alycia Moravec as White Rabbit, Colin Cummings, Ashley Owens and Connor Calder as Cheshire Cat, Blaise Cox as Dooknob, Gavin Rhinehart as Do Do Bird, Keegan Baxter as Mad Hatter, Ben Oswald as March Hare, Brevin Cummings as Doormouse, Maddy Martini as Queen of Hearts, Paul Gaston as King of Hearts, Garrett Golden as Tweedle Dum and Noah Detar as Tweedle Dee.

Flowers are played by Abby Garvey, Addy Webber, Cadence Cummings, Cami Webber, Elyse Calder, Emmaleigh Stempien, Faith Rhinehart, Lexi Strong, Jayden Hollister, Noelle Gillotti and Sierra Harrison.

Lobsters/Caterpillars are played by Alex Cox, Anna Detar, Brayden Webber and Brian Hollister, Lobsters are played by Dylan Hassos and Garrett Golden, Cards are played by Dylan Hassos, Elyse Calder, Gage Todd, Lexi Strong, Noah Strong, Sydney Moravec, Brian Hollister and Sierra Harrison.

The chorus includes Abby Bodine, Amelia Conlong, Hailey Hassos, Issabelle Hinkal, Simone Gillotti and Jammie Decker.

The Youth Theater Experience is a program offered by Pennsylvania Yankee Theater Company that gives children an opportunity to participate in theater production.
