Food for the Needy will be distributed from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday Aug. 31 at  Penn Yan First Baptist Church, 224 Main St., Penn Yan.

Travel Treasures Sale

Travel Treasures Sale and Quilt Drawing, an outdoor tent event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 31 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, corner of Main Street and Clinton, Penn Yan.Treasures from around the world, from fine linens to African carvings and much more.  Purchase tickets for a 2 p.m. drawing for a beautiful hand made quilt.  Proceeds to benefit church projects in Haiti.
