Paris Texas concert to benefit Dundee Food Pantry

Our Town RoCKS will be hold a benefit concert for the Dundee Food Pantry at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Dundee Baptist Church on Seneca Street with music featuring Paris Texas.

The music duo of Bobby Henrie on the guitar and Rick Manning on the mandolin and fiddle play a variety of music including bluegrass, western swing, and Parisian string swing music.

Henrie’s is perhaps best known through his rockabilly band Bobby Henrie and the Goners. His bluegrass roots run deep from his younger days of performing with the Henrie Brothers. He has a particular affinity for the music of Doc Watson.

Rick Manning is a multi- instrumentalist . He learned to love bluegrass and western swing while living in Austin Texas in the early 1980’s. Rick is the founder of the Winter Village Bluegrass Festival in Ithaca.

Henrie and Manning will be joined by Doug Henrie playing the stand up bass.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
