Join the students of Penn Yan Academy, Penn Yan Elementary School, Penn Yan Middle School, and St. Michael School March 12-15 in the Penn Yan Academy Auditorium, under the direction of Jessica Kinsey as they stage the famous world-hit musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

In this retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors, lyricist Tim Rice and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber have created a musical filled with energy, color, excitement, and song. The audience can expect to see some unique twists the Penn Yan production brings to the stage as they sit back and discover the value of family, hard work, and following your dreams. Set to an engaging mix of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ’n roll, this Old Testament tale is made both timely and timeless.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 12 -14, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15. Pre-sale tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for seniors and students. Tickets are available in Penn Yan at Longs’ Cards & Books, Lyons National Bank, Milly’s Pantry, and Pinckney Hardware. Tickets at the door will be $9 and $8.
