The Penn Yan Lions Club and Friends of the Outlet work crew, including roving inspector Cindy.

The Penn Yan Lions Club organized a work party to replace the parking lot guide rails at the Seneca Mills access for the Keuka Outlet Trail on Dec. 4. The group paid for the material and organized personnel and equipment. A few of the Friends of the Outlet organization pitched in to help with the effort too.

Additionally, they added a rail on the north side of Outlet Road located in a grassy shaded area for horse and buggy traffic. The trail’s roving inspector, Cindy the Jack Russell Terrier, seen in the group photo above, approved of the day’s progress, reports the group.

The Lion’s Club has adopted and been taking care of the section of the trail that surrounds the Seneca Mills Falls for several years now.  If your civic group or organization would like to adopt a section of trail please contact the Friend’s of the Outlet, Inc. at
