Two charged in Penn Yan stabbing

Penn Yan Village Police have charged Andrew Henshaw, 34 and Susie Henshaw, 48 of 205 East Elm Street, Apt. 2, Penn Yan with assault in the second degree after being called to their residence at 1:21 am on Oct. 7.  Upon arrival at the scene officers found a male subject who suffered multiple stab wounds to the arms and torso as well as facial burns from being sprayed in the face with oven cleaner.  The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Penn Yan Volunteer Ambulance for treatment.  He currently remains there in satisfactory condition. 

Andrew and Susie Henshaw were arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court by Justice Dan Hibbard, who set bail at $20,000 cash/$40,000 secured bond.  Both were taken to the Yates County Jail to await further court action.
