H1N1 Vaccine Clinic in Benton

Yates County Public Health will hold an H1N1 vaccine clinic from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday Oct. 19 at the Benton Fire House.

The H1N1 vaccine will be given to the following recommended groups:

  • Pregnant women
  • All people ages 3 through 24 years of age**
  • People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age.
  • Health care and emergency medical services personnel
  • People ages 25 through 64 years of age who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza (i.e. heart or lung disease, diabetes, HIV, etc.)

There will be no charge for the H1N1 vaccine.

** Depending on vaccine shipment, this will be a public health decision. There may be a vaccine for children 6 to 35 months of age.
