Scots head to Section V Championship game on Thursday

Dundee senior running back Steven Webb scored three of the Scotsmen's four touchdowns in the Scots 27-7 victory over Cuba-Rushford in the Section V Class D semi-final game in Rochester Saturday evening.

Webb opened the scoring at Marina Auto Stadium with a 13-yard touchdown run after five carries totalling 55 yards on the Scots' opening drive.

Kicker Katie Zebrowski's point after kick was good to give the Scots' a 7-0 lead for the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Dundee's Brandon Brace had his first touchdown reception of the year and Zebrowski was accurate again to bring the score to 14-0.

With under four minutes left in the first half, Webb ran 69 yards for his second touchdown.

Cuba-Rushford held the Scots scoring machine for the third quarter, but Webb broke loose again in the fourth for his third TD of the game. Zebrowski's kick was blocked.

With under a minute to go in the game, Cuba-Rushford's quarterback ran 45 yards for the Rebel's only touchdown.

Dundee will play Batavia Notre-Dame  in the Section V Class D championship game at 5:30 p.m.Thursday, Oct. 29 at Marina Auto Stadium.
