Memorial Day: honoring those who gave all

Memorial Day ceremonies were held in area communities Monday. Honoring the fallen soldiers for their ultimate sacrifice, young and old alike, veterans from every war since WWII and grateful citizens gathered to remember the fallen and lost.

In Penn Yan, a parade through downtown was followed by a ceremony on the courthouse steps. Herbie Snyder was the featured speaker.
