Keuka College will begin a program at Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City.

Fifteen months after beginning a program at Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi, Keuka College is poised to start another in the Southeast Asian country.

The college has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Science, Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUS), ITEC (International Training and Education Center,) to offer a bachelor’s degree in management.

“Recruiting has begun and we expect classes will start in early October,” said Gary Smith, vice president for the Center for Professional Studies.

VNU-Ho Chi Minh City offers 50 bachelor’s and 30 master’s and doctoral degree programs to 16,000 students.

Some 300 Vietnamese students—up from 125 when the program began in March 2010—are pursuing Keuka management degrees at International School of VNU, Hanoi.

In China, some 3,500 Chinese students are doing likewise at four partner universities, the highest enrollment of any U.S. college or university operating in that country.
