Cruisin Night draws large crowd; Dundee show is next week

Penn Yan's Cruisin' Night drew nearly 250 cars and thousands of spectators on Friday, June 17.
As classic, restored, yet-to-be restored and cool rides lined Main Street, the large and friendly crowd shared memories of favorite cars of the distant and not-so-distant past.
The Penn Yan Fire Department held a chicken barbecue, and other not-for-profit organizations offered a variety of foods and fun.
If you missed Cruisin' Night in Penn Yan, you can still get in on the fun at the Dundee Show 'N Go on June 29 at Martini's ShurFine in Dundee.
Bring your car, truck, hot rod, motorcycle, even your tractor.
Sheldon Gibson will be playing car tunes; local not-for-profits will offer food and beverages.
Registration opens at 5 p.m.; early arrivals will park on Seneca Street. T-shirts to first 50 cars; dash plaques to first 100.
Registration by donation. Pre- register at dundeecarshow@yahoo.com or call 607-243-7845 evenings: name, city, year, make, model.
