Pennsylvania Yankee Theatre Co. presents Music from the Heart

The Pennsylvania Yankee Theatre Co. presents Music from the Heart, a dessert cabaret show featuring John Bolger, Brian Cerow, Aimee Stempien Perry, Kyle Knapton, and Gareth Fishbaugh at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Penn Yan Moose Lodge. Presale tickets ($10) are available at Longs' and Pinckney's, and are $12 at the door.
John Bolger plays acoustic guitar and sings a variety of folk, rhythm & blues, rock and swing. He has over 30 years experience studying and playing guitar, and is the lead singer and guitarist for the John Bolger Band.
Brian Cerow, Aimee Stempien Perry, and Kyle Knapton are all classically trained musicians who have devoted their talents to musical theatre productions for decades. Brian's piano playing, singing, and humor have been treasures he has shared not only with the Pennsylvania Yankee Theatre Co. but also in countless school productions through the years. Aimee, the daughter of band director Jeff Stempien, inherited his musical abilities and is trained in voice. She been a sparkling presence in many productions, and is choir director at Bluff Point Methodist Church. Kyle has starred in many of the most challenging shows in musical theatre, including the Geneva Theatre Guild's production of "Rent" and headlining in the title role of PYTCo.'s "Sweeney Todd" last year.
Gareth Fishbaugh is a former member of The New Christy Minstrels, an American folk music group founded in 1961. They recorded over 20 albums and had several hits. Their 1962 debut album, "Presenting The New Christy Minstrels," won a Grammy Award and stayed on the Billboard charts for two years.
