Lenten Luncheon

The fifth Lenten Luncheon of 2014, “Washing Feet” will be held April 3 at the First Baptist Church on Main Street, Penn Yan, and the cost $5 per person. The scripture is John 13:1-11 A ziti lunch by the Wagner Restaurant will begin at noon.

Story Time

Poetry and Rhymes Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. April 3 at Dundee Library. Enjoy “Stay and Play” time after with games, socializing and lots of fun. Dundee Library, 32 Water St., Dundee 607-243-5938, dundee@stls.org.

Yates Diabetes Support Group

Finger Lakes Health’s Yates County Area Diabetes Support Group will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. April 3 at St. Mark’s Terrace, 110 Chapel St., Penn Yan. Diabetics, their family members, friends and caregivers are invited to come watch a short movie, have a snack and learn about diabetes self management; talk to others with the same concerns and get the recipe of the month. Use the south entrance at St. Mark’s Terrace near Tops Market and buzz the office for entrance to the facility. Chicken & Biscuit Dinner

The Dundee Baptist Church will be having a Chicken and Biscuit dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3. Adults $9, Children $4 and Preschoolers free. Take outs available. Phone day of dinner 607-243-7313.
