The Keuka Comfort Care Home entry in the Can Hunger competition is on display at Pinckney Hardware at the corner of Elm and Main Streets in Penn Yan.

The Penn Yan Rotary is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Can Hunger Competition.

The entries are:

Keuka Comfort Care Home - built at Pinckney Hardware

Penn Yan Rotary - built at Community Bank - Main Street

Penn Yan Interact - built at Lyons National Bank

The Living Well - built at The Well’s office

Knapp and Schlappi - built at their store

Yates County Youth Services - Yates County Building

Keuka College Interact and The Center for Spiritual Life - built at Flying Colors

Five Star Bank - built at their site

Community Bank Lake Street Plaza - built at their site

Stork Insurance - built at their site

The goal is to building a structure out of non-perishable food items which will then be donated to the Food for the Needy program.

The structures will be judged between 10 a.m. and noon March 19. Each site will have a ballot box for the community to vote on the People’s Choice Award.

All participants have been asked to dismantle their structures and deliver their goods to the First Baptist Church between 10 a.m. and noon March 20.
