The musicians in Mr. Mustard, who let their music pay tribute to The Beatles, will perform at 6:30 p.m. July 5 on the Yates County Courthouse Lawn.

PENN YAN – The Yates Summer Concert Series will present its third concert at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 on the historic and scenic setting of the Yates County Courthouse lawn at the corner of Main and Court Streets. Featured at this performance will be the Beatles tribute band, Mr. Mustard. This free concert is sponsored by the Loyal Order of the Moose.

This five-member Rochester band will take the audience on a magical mystery tour as they will perform all Beatles music, period. Relive and recall the memories or places where you sang every lyric to every song. Mr. Mustard will perform music that changed a generation and that has inspired generations after.

From the novelty song “Yellow Submarine” to the mellow “Yesterday,” there is a long list of Beatle offerings in between. Remember, “All You Need is Love” was a key message.

Bring your own lawn chair and enjoy this outdoor concert. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the First Baptist Church. The Penn Yan United Methodist Church will provide refreshments during intermission. Enjoy a light meal before the concert at the Baptist Church concession stand. Children can enjoy a special time at the east end of the courtyard where organized activities will take place, supervised by Penn Yan Public Library employees and community volunteers.
