The Keuka Outlet Trail between Cherry Street and Fox Mill will be closed Mondays through Thursdays while major repairs are completed.

Work has begun on the stream bank restoration and stabilization project near the Cherry Street entrance to the trail in Penn Yan.

While the work is being done, the trail in the area between Cherry Street and Fox Mills will be closed Monday through Thursday. The contractor will reopen the trail after work is finished Thursday afternoons, and close it again Monday mornings.

To detour around the work follow Cherry Street past the Moose Club and turn right onto East Elm Street. East Elm Street becomes Outlet Road outside the village limits. The Fox Mills entrance to the trail is at the bottom of the hill on the right. They expect the project to continue through mid-July. This project is being completed with funds the Village of Penn Yan secured through the Federal Emergancy Management Agency FEMA following the 2014 floods.
