Dundee food pantry distribution set for Jan. 28
DUNDEE -- The next distribution for the Dundee Food Pantry will be Thursday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Dundee Baptist Church, 20 Seneca St., Dundee. It is open to all residents of the Dundee Central School District.
In January there is an annual registration process. The pantry will try to do this as safely as possible within the drive-through distribution. They will not ask about your finances. They will ask the number of people in your household and their ages, and will need two forms of proof of residence.
This Food Pantry is open to any and all residents who live within the boundaries of the Dundee Central School District. Given the changing environment due to the coronavirus, as well as winter weather, updates will be posted in the Dundee and Penn Yan papers, on WFLR radio, the OurTownRocks and/or DCS facebook pages. Calls may be made to Charlene Snyder at 607-243-8371, or Lew Ann Giles at 607-243-5935, or 315-317-6866 on distribution days. The Food Pantry is monitoring the situation as the pandemic continues.
The Dundee Food Pantry's mission is to provide food for Dundee residents as best as it is able within the necessary protocols of health and safety for volunteers and recipients, in partnership with Foodlink of Rochester and the generosity of the community.
