Willis and Collins named 'Paul Harris Fellows'

Retired Dundee teacher Fran Willis and veterinarian Susan Collins were each recognized with the Paul Harris Fellowship Award by Dundee Rotary.

Dundee Rotary Club President John Frederick presented retired teacher Fran Willis with her sixth Paul Harris award at the Rotary's May 19 meeting.

Frederick also presented Sue Collins, local veterinarian, with her eighth and ninth Paul Harris awards.  

The Paul Harris Fellowship is the highest award given by Rotary International. Each Paul Harris award represents a $1,000 donation to the Rotary Foundation either by the member or by other members in the recipient’s name.

Dundee Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon in the Our Town Rocks office at 12 Main St., Dundee. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting to learn more about Rotary, an international organization whose motto is “Service Above Self.”
