Stroke Support Group Meets Via Zoom June 2

Stroke is an attack on the brain that occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted or reduced, causing loss of brain tissue.

FINGER LAKES – The regional Stroke Support Group hosted by UR Medicine Thompson Health will meet on Thursday, June 2. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m., via Zoom, and will feature peer interactions and discussion.

Thompson’s monthly support group is open to stroke survivors as well as their loved ones and caregivers. To sign up for the June 2 meeting, email StrokeSupportGroup@urmc.rochester.edu.
