Edward J. Dinzler, 51, of 3756 A Italy Hill Road, Branchport was arrested  on Feb. 18 for driving while intoxicated and speeding.  Dinzler was stopped on State Route 54 in the Town of Jerusalem for speeding.  It was determined he had been drinking and was placed through field sobriety tests.  He was taken to the Yates County Public Safety Building for a breath test.  Dinzler was issued appearance tickets for Town of Jerusalem Court.

Curtis Perot, 41, of 4528 State Route 364, Middlesex was charged on Feb. 23, with assault third degree and endangering the welfare of a child. The assault charge is the result of a fight Perot was involved in Friday evening in the Village of Rushville. He punched another male in the presence of a child under the age of seventeen, resulting in the endangerment charge.  Perot was arraigned in  Rushville Village Court, where he posted bail and will reappear to answer the charges.
