Diane L. Nelson, 53, of 1342 Anthony Road was driving on State Route 54 shortly before 4 p.m. on May 14, when a large plastic water tank came out of a pickup bed.

The tank struck the driver’s side of her vehicle, causing damage.

Aaliyah Morabito, 3, was secured in a car seat in the rear passenger’s seat.  The child was covered with glass, but not injured. Nelson sustained shoulder and arm injuries. The truck carrying the tank was driven by Jeffery Hacker, 45, of 1263 Main St., Middlesex.

He was ticketed for having an unsecured load.  Penn Yan Ambulance and Medic 55 responded along with Yates County Sheriff Deputies.
